Terms & Conditions

Booking/Cancellations:

Upon booking A & S Wedding & Hire Car require a 50% non refundable deposit for each vehicle hired. Once your booking is confirmed the balance is due 2 weeks prior to any event. Cancellations must be made in writing 60 days prior to your event, either by fax or email. Failure to advise as per these agreed terms will result in the balance of the total hire for the job to be paid in full.

After confirmation of your booking outlining times and locations, etc. Any changes must be given 30 days prior to any event taking place, otherwise A & S Wedding & Hire Car have the right to refuse any such changes due to our heavy booking schedules.

Waiting time/Overtime:

Whilst we will accommodate passengers during their travel, overtime and waiting time will be charged in 15 minute increments should the booking go past the finish time of the said booking. In the event of additional charges, this total amount will be payable to the driver in cash. Every effort is made to get you to your destination safely, comfortably and on time, however things do happen and allowances must be made for traffic, weather or vehicle breakdowns, etc. We can not be held liable for those circumstances which are out of control. Should there be a mishap or vehicle breakdown, another vehicle will be dispatched to complete the function depending on availability at the time.

Seatbelts:

Seatbelts are fitted to all vehicles and under current legislation must be applied and fitted by each person travelling in the vehicle.

Food:

No food is to be consumed inside vehicles whilst en route to destination.

Smoking:

There is to be no smoking of any substance in the vehicles.

Alcohol:

The person booking the vehicles takes full responsibility that all alcohol consumed by clients are done by persons over the age of 18. The driver of the hired vehicle at the time of the job has the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behavior poses a threat to the driver, the vehicle or any other passenger, the driver has the right to terminate and cancel the job at hand without refund.

Insurance:

Our insurance policy covers all authorized persons travelling in the vehicle en route to their destination. Unless assisted by the driver, passengers assume personal liability when entering and exiting the vehicle.
A & S Wedding & Hire Car has the right to demand full compensation for payment of any damage caused by passengers or hiring parties travelling in the vehicles. It is the responsibility of the hiring person to ensure no damage is caused to the vehicle.
A & S Wedding & Hire Car  will not be held responsible for any goods left in the vehicles. It is the client’s responsibility to make sure all personal belongings are taken with them when exiting the vehicle.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Due to the length of our stretch limousines, access into some suburban streets may be restricted and pickup/drop offs at front door may not be possible. This also relates to some function centers.
